Meet Nala!!
This little girl is the purest form of love you will ever meet! Even after the rough start she has had in life her irrepressible zest for love and cuddles and toys are second to none!! She is about a 4 month old Beagle mix and we are guessing she may be mixed with a Boston Terrier but that is strictly a guess. But we are basing that on her long legs and curly tail. Her coat is short but silky soft and she has the most amazing gray blue eyes you will ever see!
Nala was abandoned, deliberately, as a 2 -3 month old puppy in the parking lot of a WalMart. A young woman saw her running around and as everyone stood there to watch she went and caught her and brought her home. She kept her for a month but because she works so much she felt Nala deserved a whole family life. We think she is about 4 months old as she is very coordinated and athletic for a little one.
Nala is seriously nothing but love! She went into her foster home and immediately fell in love with the kids and a pitbull named Sadie! She loves to play, loves toys but she is also quite the snuggler and will nestle in bed with you at night as close as she can get!
Her adoption fee includes her spay (per the terms of our adoption agreement as she is still too young), her current vaccinations as well as rabies, microchip, deworming, starter food, collar, leash and bed. An adoption fee does apply.
As we prescreen via email ONLY please tell us a bit about you such as:
1. Your lifestyle, activity level and work schedule.
2. Area you live in and if it is a house or apartment.
3. How many adults, children and pets in the household.
4. Where your pet stays when you are out or at work.
5. Where your pet will sleep.
Some notes to consider before applying for Nala:
1.As she is a 14 week old puppy please make sure everyone is on board with the time it takes to train your new puppy so that he will be that perfect canine citizen.
2. We are not affiliated with Smashface Rescue. Please do not call them. Your call will not be returned.
3. Please make sure you are ready to adopt before coming to see our adoptable dogs. We are a foster based rescue and do not have the space to hold dogs for a couple of weeks while you vacation or make your way to California to come and adopt. We will adopt out of state but ONLY if the potential adopter comes here to adopt in person and that is after a screening by Skype. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS EVER.
4. We are often inundated with emails about our adoptable dogs and try as we might to make everyone happy it is nearly impossible with only one dog and sometimes up to 50 potential families. The more information you provide in your email to us the quicker we will get back to you. If you have written to us before about a particular dog and did not receive a response please do try again. Every dog has different home requirements that we search for so sometimes you are the right fit for the dog we are trying to place.
