If you are reading this bio, Anna is looking for a home so no need to email us asking if she is available. To meet this kitty, please go to our website at www.angelsonwheels.org to complete the on-line adoption application which can be found by clicking the applications tab. An adoption application needs be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet.
Meet beautiful Anna who was born 8-13-18. She is a gorgeous girl with a spectacular personality. She is a friendly, sweet kitty who you will love when you meet her. She is a purrr machine because she is always happy. She loves belly rubs and rolls over for more. She is such sweetheart who loves her people and will sleep in bed with you...in fact she will likely follow you around. She is very smart and will come when called like a dog...well unless she is in a very deep sleep. She loves playing with her toys and sitting by a window to watch the action outside. She has not been around small children so we feel a home with children 8+ would be best as she does play bite from time to time. Anna is being fostered in in a home in Naperville, which is where you would go to meet her with an approved adoption application.
Anna needs to be in a single cat home only because she will go after other kitties. We have tried medication but it didn't work. She can be placed in a home with another dog only if your current dog has lived with a feline before and within the last 3 years.
Anna has continues water eyes since she was a kitten. The vet believes she has the feline herpes virus, which is very different from human herpes. We suggest you google feline herpes virus to learn more about it or speak with your vet. We have tried many medications, eye drops and natural products and nothing seems to work. This does not effect her eating, kitty box habits or loving personality. She is a sweet happy kitty!
Anna has been with us since she was about 6 weeks old. We worked for a long time to try and eliminate the watery eyes and then the pandemic hit and we removed Anna from the adoption list until now.
Meet and greet will be scheduled after an adoption application is submitted which can be completed on line at www.angelsonwheels.org.
Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Current on Rabies Vaccination
Dewormed with Panacur and repeated when she was a kitten and arrived
Given Ponazuril when she was a kitten and arrived
Treated for a cold with antibiotics several times
Tested negative for Felv
Tested negative for FIV
You will also receive a free health exam and fecal test only at Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic in Crest Hill, Illinois
