Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Odie is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Odie and his family were turned out to run loose on the streets when their humans no longer wanted them. A kind neighbor rescued them and brought them to us. Odie and his brother look like Yorkshire terrier mixes, but mom is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. Odie is a very sweet and loving little boy. He only weighs 6 pounds and we guesstimate he is around 6 months of age. Odie is very friendly and playful; and gives lots of kisses. Odie is still young and will need to be house trained, obedience trained and receive further socialization. He is very small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Odie must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Odie is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Odie is negative for heartworms and current of heartworm and flea prevention. Odie has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. He will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
