My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AWESOME Gina Bennett, fostering the sisters, has provided this great write-up for any interested adopters...

"Thank you for checking out this Bonded Pair! We know it takes a special person to consider TWO Rescues when looking to extend your family. These two dogs are special and madly in love. They come from the same litter, a mixture of Yorkie, Shih Tzu, and Chihuahua. These girls are 2 1/2 years old, youngsters!

Introductions: Peanut is the tan and black looks sort of like a Yorkie and I'm guessing Shih Tzu mix, she is a little lady and has the cutest snaggle tooth. So gentle, sweet, lovable, kissy kind of girl.

Tippy is the dark grey Chihuahua looking one, short hair and beautiful dark brown eyes. You know your loved when she looks at you. Sometimes she kisses with her mouth open like a French peck on the cheek!

This two sisters, well, when not sleeping with you, or loving on you - they well find each other and just cuddle up. They also play together and chases each other around outside, there is no missing this bond. They tend to eat out of the same bowl, and both want to be close to you and yours, true companions and filled with sweet affection and devotion. Great With Children, cats, and other dogs of all sizes

That being said, they do sleep separate rooms and have one on one with people. They are close, but they are great on their own - double blessing is how I think of The Sisters.....

They are house broken and can use dog doors. They are used to a fence yard, not so good on leash, but they can learn with your help! Not into toys yet, but treats are devoured. They do bark at the mailman, at dogs walking by the window, but saying shush or eventually shut up works well LOL they stop. Not an issue if you've had small dogs before : ) Last thing, these little girls are fearless - not scared of lawn mower, vacuum cleaner, thunderstorms, low maintenance duo.

I'm the proud foster mom and will be happy to answer any questions and/or schedule a meeting with THE Sisters."
