Here's what the humans have to say about me:
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
How would you describe your perfect dog? Friendly, kind, polite, obedient, playful with other dogs, housetrained, quiet, snuggly, sweet, submissive? Not enough? How about great in the car? Loves company? Enjoys leash walks?
Cali is a wonderful young girl, probably about 2 years old (pretty white teeth) and around 40 pounds (is a bit overweight right now). She is all of the above and more.
This super sweet girl was found abandoned at a rental house, a terrible thing for such a sociable pup. It is clear that she was well loved for much of her life since she adores people and has obviously been an indoor dog. Who knows why she suffered the awful fate of being abandoned. She certainly did nothing to deserve that!
Cali spend 2 weeks at the home of the person who found her and they thought she was awesome. She was great with their male Lab and enjoyed playing with him and chasing him around the yard. When we tested her with an overly enthusiastic young dog we have with us, she was very tolerant of his antics though it was obvious that she preferred more mannerly dogs to play with.
They said she seemed to be housetrained already.
Cali is great with all touch and adores snuggles and attention so should fit in well in most any household.
She has a pleasing, moderate energy level and is pretty laid back overall.
Cali is very attentive to people and aims to please. She truly cares about what people think of her.
She may not be the latest fluffball of a designer dog but you could not ask for a better personality in a family dog.
Cali is really missing being a beloved member of a family so please apply for her now and meet this sweetheart. You will love her!! She will probably do best in a family that has a politely playful male companion dog for her so she does not feel lonely when you are away during the day.
