Louie is a nine-month-old Cockapoo. He was an owner surrender as his former family didn’t have time to properly care for him. A member of SRC came to his rescue so he is now an honorary schnauzer!
Louie is pure puppy and a total sweetheart! He believes the world is his playground. Louie gets along great with other pups and just wants to play with them. He would love to have a brother or sister to run around with. He’s always happy and will put a smile on your face.
We’re working on house training and other manners (a shoe and a dog toy look the same to him!). He’s definitely vocal – you’ll always know when the mailman is there. His new family should be patient and willing to train him. They should also have lots of energy. He needs play time, walks, and running around a fenced in yard. For a ten-pound dog, he can leap and jump pretty good!
After he burns that energy, he just wants to cuddle up and love his people. He gives great kisses and snuggles. Louie follows his foster mom all day long and wants to be near you. He also likes to be held like a baby.
His adoption fee is $600 and is being fostered by Kristy and Jim in Cincinnati.
