My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fisher is a disco party dressed up as a sweet black cat, and he’s looking for a fun human to keep up with him. If he isn’t running on the cat wheel, you may find him with all four paws in the air wiggling about in a pile of catnip, climbing, carefully watching the neighborhood from the window, or figuring out how to get treats. Most homes would work well for Fisher, and he would work especially well with other cats as he is a gentle and respectful boy who is just here to have a good time. He is a big, light-hearted goofball – if you’re a fun and loving human prepared to keep an endless supply of catnip in your home pantry (and possibly a cat-sized hamster wheel) Fisher wants to meet you!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

There is an application and fee required for adoption of our kitties. We begin with a phone interview. If that goes well then an appointment is set up for the potential adopters to come and meet our kitties. If one is chosen a home inspection is scheduled. If that goes well the darling kitty is delivered and a follow up call will happen a week or so later.

Please contact us at adopt@azshfa.org for information on our wonderful kitties. After a brief phone interview we can set up an appointment to meet our kitties at the shelter.
