A lot of stray dogs just don’t seem to get a break. It looked like Fozzie was going to be one of them – taken in but never reclaimed. Now, Fozzie’s luck is starting to change and he has a chance for the kind of home every dog dreams of and deserves.
Fozzie is about 8 months old and 20 lbs. He still has some growing to do, but will end up as a medium-sized dog when fully mature. He is a confident, fairly active guy who still has a lot of puppy energy and curiosity. Daily exercise and playtime will be important for him. He enjoys playing with other dogs, which will make him a great backyard pal for another dog. He is very happy to be around people of all ages.
Although he’s past the little puppy stage, in some ways Fozzie’s still very young. He will need a home with a family that has the time and patience to give him consistent guidance and help him reach his potential as a wonderful companion. He’s working on leash walking, but will need to start from scratch on crate and house training. He’s a smart boy who, with a little help, will quickly get the hang of things. He has been neutered, is up to date on all his vaccinations and is ready to go to his forever home.
Hang in there Fozzie! Your luck’s changing and your very own home is right around the corner.
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
