My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Shadow. He is a silver lab mix. He is about 1-2 years old and currently weighs almost 50 lbs. He was brought in as a stray so he may be a little underweight. When he was found, he was covered in ticks and mud. But after a bath and some brushing his beautiful silver coat just shined through. He is an extremely sweet, gentle and loving boy.

He has only been with his trainer for less than an week but he is learning quickly. He is a little timid right now but responds well to praise and love. He likes to give kisses and to snuggle up on a lap.

Shadow entered the NLOL program on May 10, 2019, and will be graduating on July 10th. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
