Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Toto, the Tibetan Terrier! This affectionate and gentle fellow is 11 months old and about 19 pounds.
Toto's hair had to be shaved due to knots and tangles from not being brushed. But, you should see him now! His soft fur has been growing back. And despite his past, he’s got so much love to give and all the playfulness of a puppy!
Toto loves to play with his humans and other dogs. Toto is untested with cats but should be ok with them if introduced properly. With this good boy’s temperament, he would do well in any household, but especially with kids!
He enjoys playing tug-o-war and getting belly rubs and kisses from the family. This little guy will make you laugh with his crazy antics. He will roll over and ask for love pats or will “talk” to get your attention. And he gently takes treats.
Toto is catching on to house training more and more every day but like all puppies, could still use some help in getting it down pat.
He is also great on a leash and is a curious traveler in the car, taking in the sights and sounds. He’s always up for new adventures and happily greets new people and cheerfully explores the neighborhood.
When evening falls, Toto is a champion lap warmer and just wants to be with you. He will sleep in his own bed or join yours. This sweet guy is looking for a family to shower him with affection and in return receive his boundless love. Is he the one for you?
Toto wouldn’t do well left alone for a full work day and would like to have a canine companion if his parents are gone that long. He would do fine with no other dog as long as someone was around during the day.
Toto's adoption fee is $300 and he is being fostered in Newark, CA.
All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
