My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Niko is a very handsome 1 and a half year old German Shepherd/Great Dane. He's still in his puppy stages and hasn't matured quite yet. He's extremely goofy and fun to play with. He was rescued by us from Riverside Animal Services code red, and right before he was euthanized. Niko is such a happy go lucky boy without a care for much in the world, except for his other doggie friends. He LOVES to play with other dogs, all the time, non stop. He has done really well with every dog he has met so far and has learned not to play so rough due to his size alone. He's also been through a board and train where he continued to learn how to properly play with other dogs and some manners. He still needs some help in the basic obedience department and an adopter to stay on top of it with him. He can be quite the ball of energy, but he also calms down especially when in the house and minds his manners most when inside. He is housetrained, and kennel trained and for the most part walks very well on leash. Does fantastic in car rides too. As of currently, has not been cat tested.

Niko's ideal home would be in a more active home with a shepherd breed experienced adopter. He would love other dogs and children to play with too. He can be your perfect hiking or running buddy, and also a very quiet couch potato. Are you the home Niko has been searching for? More pictures and videos can be sent upon request via email or text.
