Ladders has these greenish eyes that are hypnotizing and is as happy as dogs come. He kept a big grin on his face the entire time we were together. Ladder was easy to get out of his kennel and walked with minimal pulling on leash. He is a young guy but already has some basic training already under his belt. He sits on command and does it without being asked if he sees a treat in the area. Because he loves treats (who doesn’t) and takes them gently but isn’t greedy about trying to get the next one.
Ladders briefly humored me by chasing a tennis ball one time. He didn’t even get all the way to it before running back to get more treats. He did find the squeaker toy intriguing and mysterious. He just couldn’t figure out how it was making that noise. His head kept shaking back and forth in confusion adorably. Ladders allowed handling all over and kept his energy appropriate when I was down at his level. He would love a home of his own to constantly wag his happy butt around in.
