Meet JOURNEY, a magnificent mound of squishy faced perfection who is big on cuddles and low on drama. She is one of the most well adjusted animals we have ever met. She is the kind of dog you can take anywhere and who will be happy to meet anyone (human, dog, or cat). JOURNEY fully enjoys a good play session, but only in short spurts. After a 10 minute play, she will return to the activity that occupies most of her days....lounging around. In addition to lounging on the sofa and showering her foster mom with affection, this girl really appreciates a good sunbathing session on the back deck.
JOURNEY is a lover of all living creatures, both large and small, furry or not, her favorites being kids and dogs. She is amazing with everything. JOURNEY is a great traveler and such a fun co-pilot. She regards every car ride as a total adventure. She is thrilled when company comes over for a visit and is kind of like the Walmart greeter of her foster home. JOURNEY is potty trained, marvelous in her crate while her foster mom is at work, and great about only playing with her own toys. Her lucky forever family will have a plethora of joyful memories with JOURNEY for many many years to come!
JOURNEY is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the New England area after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
