Mack is a super gentle and sweet boy who was dropped off at the shelter when his family relocated and couldn't bring him along. In any event, he is simply gorgeous, with long, flowing black fur and an awesome personality. His shelter paperwork indicates that he is a 4 year old "borzoi or retriever mix", but we think he is definitely a flat-coated retriever, possibly mixed with collie or belgian shepherd.
Mack enjoys hanging out with the other dogs in his foster home, and is fine with cats. He adores people and loves being petted and brushed. He likes fetching tennis balls and going for walks. Mack does not pull on his leash, and he is perfect off-leash as well. He is quiet (except when the vacuum cleaner is running), calm, gentle, and affectionate. He is incredibly well-mannered and completely housebroken. He is truly an awesome dog.
Mack currently weighs about 60 pounds, but he is very thin and his foster mom is working on adding some weight to his slender frame. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots, microchipped, and heartworm/lyme negative. Mack would be the perfect addition to most any family.
