My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Pea was surrendered to us by an owner who could no longer care for her. She was very obese when she arrived. Weighing in at over 16 pounds. She has lost 4 pounds so far and has a little way to go before she reaches her ideal weight. We have her on a high quality weight reduction dry kibble. She is housebroken and crate trained. Her previous owner had trained her to go on potty pads but, with us, she willingly goes outside to potty. She walks well on leash and enjoys going outdoors. She rides well in the car. Sweet Pea is very friendly and playful. She is NOT nippy. She gets along well with other dogs and is okay with the cats. She is also good with children. Very young children will need to be supervised. Sweet Pea is small and a young child could easily unintentionally hurt her.
All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
