Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Wybie
Age: 1.5-2 y/o. His canines are still coming in.
Found: In San Bernardino on Fifth and Waterman, March 25, 2019. I placed his photo on local FB dog sites, Paws Boost, and Pet Harbor. Nothing.
Weight: Around 30 lbs.
Here is a list of things Wybie likes:
- Walks. He is leashed trained.
- He likes dog treats. His favorites are the chicken and port sausage dog treats I get at Costco. He has to be watched when he eats them because he scarfs them down fast!
- He gets along with my other dogs especially my Chihuahua mix Gigi.
- He likes to get in the water. I have a little kiddie poll I put a few inches of water in. When it is hot, he likes to splash around.
- He has an under bite which makes him look like he is grimacing but he's not.
- He likes dog toys but he doesn't fetch.
- He's not a finicky eater. I feed him Iams/Kirkland crunchies with a little canned food morning and night.
- He likes going on adventures in the car and sticking his nose out of the window to catch some scents in the air.
- He's way into the "I'll Get Cha" game. When I say I'll get ya, he runs around really fast in the yard and I try to touch him as he goes by.
- He's very affectionate. Wants to cuddle a lot and likes to be around people.
- He understands what "No" means. When I tell him that he stops the behavior but it might take one or two more times.
Here's what we are still working on:
- He marks a lot (pees). Hopefully, the neuter will take care of that soon! He has not marked in the house because I don't let him in. He sleeps in a nice insulated dog house outdoors. I do walk him through the house to go out for walks and he's been good.
- I'm not sure how he is with cats. I have 6 indoor cats and when we walk through the house, he will chase them when they run but the two big males and a feisty female don't run and he seems confused as what to do next.
- He does nip a little at feet but I learned this is a boarder collie thing. He's never bit me or broken the skin. He tends to do during the I'll Get Cha game.
- I think it would be best if he had a buddy dog. He gets sad and cries if I leave him and he's not around Gigi. I'm keeping him separate from her until he heals.
- He will bark at things. Some nights, he will bark just to bark as do my other dogs. After sternly telling him to stop a few times, I resorted to putting coins in an empty plastic jar and loudly shaking them, saying no at the same time. That did the trick!
- He did dig under a worn wooden deck in my backyard to get to a squirrel. Other than that, he doesn't seem to be a bad digger.
