Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the absolute best and brightest mix of Lab and Boxer, Shep (?) -ever- Atlas! Affectionate and athletic Atlas is well socialized and the happiest of dogs ever! He was rescued out of a high kill north Georgia shelter as a tiny puppy with his siblings. He was adopted nearly three years ago. Unfortunately, his adopter has recently moved to NYC and small apt. as well as long days alone is proving to be not a good life for happy and energetic Atlas. Therefore, we are once again seeking his truly forever home with an active and adventuresome family in the Atlanta area. Three-year-old Atlas weighs 60lbs and has been well socialized and trained. He has had a great start with training and socialization and it will be a lucky family who adopts Atlas and all his awesome advantages. Atlas gets along well with all types and sizes of dogs. He’d love a home with another dog and a nice fenced yard would be great too! He is very social and excited about making new friends. High energy Atlas would be the perfect adventure partner! He loves and needs his daily exercise. Atlas currently gets a morning run, and he does best when he gets out and about early. He is not bothered by weather and had a great all-weather coat. Super smart Atlas is easy to trained and has had basic and advanced classes. He will require an adopter who is looking for a running and hiking buddy. He will be able to keep up! Atlas does well at day care and dog parks too. He listens well, knows all his basic commands and is great on his leash. He loves to have interaction with people and other canines. Ideally, he’d love another dog in the house and/or older kids to play with him too. Fetch is his favorite too! Atlas is crate trained and house trained, but his current adopter rarely uses his crate as he can be trusted without it. He rides well in the car and is vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. If your active and energetic household is seeking a social and friendly canine companion to accompany them on all their outdoor adventures- then Atlas is definitely your guy! His adoption fee is $250. If you have questions about this lovable and loyal Lab mix, please email Jillian at trainingtotherescue@gmail.com. Happy and Handsome Atlas is hoping for an easy and beneficial transition to a new life full of fun, exercise and love!
