STACI is a cream pure breed female Miniature Poodle. She is only 16 lbs and big as she will get. Heartworm negative, UTD on vaccines, rabies, microchipped, dewormed, spayed and recently groomed. She is on monthly preventions for heartworms fleas & ticks.
This special girl was born to a breeder. He kept her to breed but she only produced one pup, so therefore she isn't a money maker and he surrendered her to us. We are the only rescue this breeder works with in surrendering all non productive dogs or those he retires. Let me say in all the dogs we do get from him, they have always been on heartworm pills, exceptionally clean, live in his home. He only breeds them once yrly and retires them at 4-5 yrs..
I do not promote breeding but this breeder is the exception to taking very good care of his dogs. And we area fortunate to work with him to be able to place them in loving homes where they will never be used for breeding again and have a happy, healthy, normal dog life.
Staci loves being held and near you. If you sit in the chair or on the sofa, she is with you. She is housetrained, she will need work on a leash as they have lived inside a home and had access to the fenced yard. She has not been around kids, so we don't know how she would be or cats. She has lived with many other dogs and our foster home has several dogs of all sizes and she has adjusted great.
We do ask that an adoptive family always give a new dog at least 30 days to acclimate to their new environment and surroundings, new people, new animals in the home, everything has changed for them. On top of they have traveled here from TX and need time to settle. So please consider this when applying and always, always please be patient in allowing them to love you and give you years of unconditional love.
