Poor little Avery and his brother, Morgan, found themselves in a dilemma after their human mom was placed into a nursing home. Neighbors and friends were taking care of them for a while, but they needed a better solution. We were asked if we could find new families for them. Avery is approximately 8 years old and he weighs 9 pounds. He is quiet and shy. He is not interested in cats or toys. He gets along with other dogs his size. He prefers a nice lap to cuddle on and would be an excellent choice for a senior who wants a less active and quieter companion to spend time with. Avery is in good health and has a lot of years left to give full of companionship and love. Avery's adoption fee is $650 (that includes transport). He has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped so he is ready to go! **Avery is currently in his foster home in Houston, Texas.
