All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application, possess a drivers license or State ID, and include a vet reference. Renters MUST include a phone number where their landlord can be reached. Same day adoptions are available in some cases, but not all. All animals available for adoption are already de-wormed, spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Rabies, twice vaccinated for Distemper, FIV/FeLV test for cats, Heartworm test for dogs and microchipped. Our adoption fees are as follows: Adult cats and kittens = $100; Purebred kittens $125, Adult dogs = $200 for residents of IL and IN, Puppies = $250. Dog adoptions for residents of other states are $250. A gas fee of $25 will be assessed to adopters who require a home inspection and require a drive time of more than 40 minutes from Watseka, IL. Home inspections are required for all dogs who require a fenced in yard, and for applicants who do not posses a solid veterinary history.
