My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dottie is a Border Collie Pit Mix pulled out of the Calhoun County Animal Shelter. She's about 2.

Outside of being HW positive, this lady is healthy and happy. All she wants to do is play fetch for 10 hours a day and snuggle. She is about halfway through treatment for her HW and any costs associated with that treatment are covered by the rescue.

She is available for adoption at any point - but her adopters would need to continue her treatment at our vet (VCA Woodland Animal Hospital - Dr. Katie Martin).

Dottie's an angel on a leash, loves loves fetch and once we get this icky heartworm cleared she has no known medical issues.... She came to us housebroken which was lovely.

She will be neutered, microchipped and UTD upon adoption.
