Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We need someone who can give this shy girl the time she needs to decompress and show off her amazing sweet side. She is crate trained and potty trained and ignores the cats in the home but would do best with no other dogs or with a low key dog she can be slowly introduced to. Please share and network our girl so we can see her smile again!
Psssttt... we have a secret.
We are adopting out a rare Staffy-Seal!(look at that first picture!) Typically only heard through stories, and rarely seen in real life, we have held on to this secret for a few months to evaluate and find out all her quirks for the best home!
Rousey is a three year old Staffordshire Terrier who found herself in an extremely tough situation where her owner said she was "good but not good enough".
She was returned for never wanting to come inside and spending her life running away in her back yard, to the point the prior owner just kept her outside, not having leash manners, and a few other minor bumps like not wanting to go into any place her "dog sibling" was due to constantly being attacked by her.
After the first few nights of having Rousey, we realized she has literally NO confidence due to conditions/occurances we don't want to imagine. Everything terrifies her to the point she just runs away and cries from everything. She didn't want to eat for the first week, take treats, or play at all. Now she loves her stuffed (or should we say de-stuffed?) toys, treats, and loves to eat. She is absolutely perfect in her crate and has amazing house manners. She now comfortably comes inside when let out, and lives to kiss attack your face. She does well with her fosters personal dogs, but due to her confidence issues, we reccomend a home with either no dogs, or someone who has a laid back dog we can slowly transition her with. She does well with the fosters cats too, and doesn't pay them any attention. We have so much hope for this dog, but we need someone who can have the same patience with her as did her foster. Are you the home that Rousey deserves? Please message us for more information on our sweet girl! Application can be found at pp2crescue.com.
