My story

Meet Caleb! This beautiful boy was found wandering the streets of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, searching for food and companionship. He was very friendly to the people he encountered, and wanted nothing more than for someone to take him home and make him part of their family. Fortunately for him, some kind people decided to rescue him from the street, and set him on the first step of his journey to the continental US!

Caleb is now here at the Hearts and Tails shelter in Weare, NH, and has quickly become one of our favorites! He is beautiful, happy, and VERY intelligent! Weighing in at only 21 lbs, this little guy loves to cuddle, play, and walk - and he is excellent on a leash.
