Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This 8 pound, apricot, female Toy Poodle named “SUNDAE” was born on February 14, 2014. She was purchased from a Michigan breeder and then came to Minnesota. Sadly, Sundae had lost her various litters of newborn puppies and so the breeder surrendered her to us.
Because “Sundae” was born on “Valentines Day”, she is a sweetheart who in the past few weeks, has quickly become adapted to life in a home with our family. Her greatest thrill is playing with the toys and becoming very “nurturing” to certain specific little toys. As pictured, she will carry them around and make sure they are a part of her life.
When not playing with the toys, Sundae will follow Mike and me around the house, always waiting and wanting to be picked up. This is a “Velcro” Poodle who just wants to be a part of your life. It has become very easy for Mike and I to become attached to this cute Poodle girl.
Sundae is about 9″ tall and the old-fashioned long in the body structure. She is AKC registered, but her papers are not available. She is also VERY smart and quickly learning about house training with our “puppy routine”, will run up and down the steps, comes when she is called, LOVES TREATS and greatly enjoys her life as an active member in our home!
We know that Sundae gets along just fine with our older Poodles and Thunder, the Pomeranian. However, she dose NOT like the two puppies: Patches and Peggy Sue. She gets really upset with them and their silly puppy behavior.
Yet Sundae is a gentle and loving little girl who would be good as an only dog or with another OLDER, gentle, easy going dog. PLEASE, NO puppies, NO large, aggressive or assertive dogs and NO young children. A fenced yard will be required as she has been a kennel dog all her life and is not leash trained.
To the right family, Sundae’s adoption fee is $400.00, which includes our Minnesota state sales tax. She is up to date on all of her shots, she has been wormed, placed on a heartworm preventative, Home Again micro-chipped and registered. Also she has been been Vet checked “healthy, strong and sturdy”. Her teeth have been cleaned and she has been spayed.
Her adoption fee also includes a leash, collar, her kennel, a bag of quality dog food, treats, toys, a folding toy box, a new blanket, a big, soft, pink doggie bed, along with lots of good information to help your adoption move forward on the right paw!
OK. I’ll try to get some pictures of Sundae without her favorite toy soon.

Like most all reputable rescue groups, because we do home visits before and occasionally after the adoption, we do NOT adopt our Poodles to homes outside a 1 days drive from our location here in central Minnesota.
