Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Look at me, Look at me! I am Ravishing Rayne who has super energy and I just love to play. No one is quite sure of my doggie breed mix, but does it really matter because look how cute I am (not that I’m bragging).
I am a happy, young dog who starts each day with play on her mind. I can play with other dogs (but they need to be as playful as me and enjoy playtime, too). I need at least one long walk per day and I do OK on the leash but I could be better with training. When not playing with other dogs, I can play on my own and entertain myself with my toys and a bone (plus a KONG with a little peanut butter inside). – I should tell you I LOVE my toys! Apparently, my foster family laughs at me as they watch me chase an ice cube on the floor. I have been told I am very smart and treat oriented so that helps with the training you will need to invest in me – have you ever thought of having a dog who might just love agility training, too?! They say a well exercised and trained dog, is a great dog – I think that will be me!
I am at a foster family who has three dogs and I love to play with them, but sometimes I may be a little too playful so I need to learn to respect their boundaries. Sometimes my foster Mom will let me stay just with her and I can entertain myself without bugging the other dogs. I would do well in a home with another dog but be warned the dog needs to love to play. If there is not a dog in your home, that should OK too – as long as I get exercised and be with people I should be good. My foster family says I am a total cuddle muffin (and so funny) – when not playing, I can chill as well. I love belly rubs and they calm me down after playtime. I am also use to a crate, so when I am so super excited I can go in my crate to calm down (and sometimes I get fed in there – and you know what, sometimes there are hidden treats in my crate that I love to search for). Bonus, I travel very well in the car and love to go on errands with my foster mom – I can even go in stores as I fit easily under her arms.
Some are not sure if I should be in a home with children – maybe older children. I am energetic and get very excited – there have been a few times when some nipping/mouthing has occurred when my foster family has picked me up to stop me from bothering another dog or getting too excitable. Not to worry, I am not being mean at all – I just need to better understand my boundaries. Just so you know, I do shed so those with allergies would not be a good fit for me. I do also need a home with a fenced in yard to run around in.
I hope I sound like the dog you have been waiting for because I am waiting for you to find me! Don’t I sound irresistible – will you make your home my forever home?! Love Rayne.
