Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carmella
Age: 1.5y
Breed: Lab mix
Is your dog good with other dogs: Wonderful
Is your dog good with cats: Will chase if they run
Is your dog good with kids: Yes
Is your dog house trained: Still has some difficulties when left unsupervised. Very good if crated when alone
Is your dog crate trained: Yes, very good
Does your dog have any special needs: No
Does your dog have any or display any aggression (toys, food, people): Rarely resource guards toys and food from other dogs
Is your dog playful: Very!
Does your dog like to snuggle: Loves it
Does your dog know basic commands: Yes, knows sit, down, working on a stay
Does your dog know any special tricks: She's extremely good at finding small critters in the backyard to chase, and she catches food better than any other dog I've met
Does your dog like to go on walks: Loves to, being outside is one of her favorite things. She does pull on leash if she sees a small critter she could chase
Does your dog have any fears: Barks a bit at fireworks and thunderstorms, but overall does very well in both those situations
Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed whether in personality or physically: ridiculously wonderful
What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: Sweet, loving, happy
In a short paragraph Please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog: Carmella, like many reserve dogs, has her primary focus the world around her. Meaning she is more interested in seeing what is going on outside than simply spending time with you. If it's quiet outside, or dark, or you have food, she is one of the snuggliest dogs I've met. She is also super interested in what the other dogs in the house are doing. And she immediately jumps up onto the furniture to hang out with us while she is relaxing. Her attention span is not great, but an experienced dog person, or someone who has dogs for Carmella to hang out with, will be able to work wonders with her.
