STORY: Gorgeous green-eyed "Anna" was rescued from our local animal shelter. She is a delightful, sweet, loving, playful kitty who has been in a cage for nearly half a year! Anna is young and gentle, and needs a home!

Medical follow-up required: Anna will need to come in to our clinic for re-testing of her bloodwork at no charge to you in a few months.

Available now at the PetSmart in Lake City, Florida, please go meet this kitty and help save a life by adoption! She will also be featured at the PetSmart Adoption Weekend May 17-19 if she is not adopted by then!

Special situation: Anna's blood testing for Feline Leukemia, FIV, and heartworms showed conflicting results. After many repeat tests and consultation with the manufacturer of the test, they cannot make a definitive call if she is positive or negative for the viral diseases. Something about her blood is "confusing" the test. At this time, she is test negative for FeLV (possible regressive infection), inconclusive for FIV, and negative for heartworms. For this reason it is not advised to have her live with other cats at this time, even though she gets along with other cats. When her viral test is repeated in a few months we will have more information. Don't let this stop you from adopting this fantastic cat!!! Advise that you have a veterinarian and/or be able to bring her to our clinic in Live Oak. Please email us for more information. Anna will be at PetSmart only until May 17-19; if she is not adopted by that time she will go back into foster care.
