My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jet came to us from the Sacramento SPCA. His pictures really don't do him justice. He is a GORGEOUS black lab mix (maybe with hunting dog) that is 7 years old, healthy, fit, and active. He gets along with all of the dogs and cat at the rescue. He is extremely well mannered and calm in the house. He gets excited when visitors arrive but calms down quickly. In a normal household he will be fabulous indoors.  He enjoys going outdoors and does like to chase squirrels but comes back when called. He is happy, knows basic commands, good on the leash, enjoys walks and would do best in an active household that will take him out daily. We think he would be happy with another dog or alone. He does seem to be territorial and will bark when the gardener arrives. He would definitely protect your home but he is not an aggressive dog. Jet has beautiful brown eyes that almost have an amber glow in the light. He is an overall fantastic dog.  One of the best we have had at the rescue. This boy is a keeper. Arrange to meet him by emailing us! He is not too young and not too old....the perfect boy.
