Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Once a Poodle is surrendered to us, I do not change it’s name. However, a dear friend of mine said that “THUNDER” had talked to her and said that she wanted a fresh, new start and a fresh new name. She wants to be called “MISSY”!
This is the first time that one of our dogs has made this request. I do feel I should honor her request as she is so pretty, gentle and loving. She truly deserves a pretty, gentle and loving name too!
So now say “Hello” to a happy “MISSY” who (even with her hair cut) is an extremely cute, black, female Pomeranian that was being retired by a breeder.
While we only accept Poodles, I just couldn’t say “No” to this cuddly little girl. Missy didn’t like it when I told her she was NOT a Poodle, but was excited when I reassured her that I would find her a good and loving “forever more” family.
Missy is a healthy 12 pounds who was born June 05, 2010. I’ve been told she is the “normal size” for a Pom and has an exceptionally loving, easy going personality. An EXTREMELY nice, loving and friendly little girl who also just loves being with Mike and me. She will follow us around the house, always waiting to be loved, picked up or given attention. Even as I enter Missy’s information onto our web site now, she is sitting on the floor right next to my chair!
Missy is so easy going that she gets along just fine with ALL of our Poodles but walks away from silly puppies. This is a VERY quiet Pom. The only time I hear her bark (or try to bark) is when I come home and she's so happy to see me!
Missy IS NOW PLAYING with toys, including the colorful chew ring and really wants to be with other dogs! She also loves to sit in your lap or on the couch next to you while watching all the activity going on around her. Again, this is a very easy going, QUIET little girl who was born June 05, 2010. I JUST LOVE HER!
PLEASE:
*NO puppies, NO large, aggressive or assertive dogs. She NEEDS TO BE with other older, or gentle, or any easy going dog.
*Our grandchildren just love and hug this little furry girl, but it's best Missy be in a home with NO young children.
*A fenced yard will be required as she has been a kennel dog all her life and is not leash trained.
She is AKC registered, but her papers are not available. Missy is also VERY smart and quickly learning about house training with our “puppy routine”, will run up and down the steps, comes when she is called, LOVES TREATS and greatly enjoys her life as an active member in our home! She considers herself a family member and not a dog.
To the right family, Missy’s adoption fee is $300.00, which includes the $21.00 Minnesota state sales tax. She is up to date on all of her shots, she has been wormed, placed on a heartworm preventative, Home Again micro-chipped and registered. Also she has been been Vet checked “healthy, strong and sturdy”. Her teeth have been cleaned and she has been spayed.
Her adoption fee also includes a leash, collar, her kennel, a bag of quality dog food, treats, toys, a folding toy box, a new blanket, a big, soft, pink doggie bed, along with lots of good information to help your adoption move forward on the right paw!
