Shadow is a stunningly gorgeous 1 year old Chihuahua/Doxie mix who is 8 tiny pounds. She has wonderfully soft fur. She was surrendered by her owner when they got divorced.
This little girl is very energetic and happy, with such a cheerful zest for life that she is sure to bring joy to yours!
Shadow is super playful and LOVES toys, especially ones that make noises when she plays with them. She likes to share her toys with you and is also pretty good about entertaining herself. Be sure to check out her video.
She is a friendly girl and, if she feels momentarily timid, all you have to do is give her one treat and she is all yours! She is quick to give kisses and affection.
She is housetrained on a schedule and she will pee and poop nicely for you when taken out on the leash. She is probably used to a fenced yard since she is still a bit of a silly girl on the leash but she will learn quickly.
She is young so still a little bit mouthy when she is bouncing around during play so just needs a reminder that her mouth belongs only on her toys. If you say a firm uh uh or stop play if she starts to be mouthy, she does correct easily.
We were told that Shadow is good with dogs, cats and older kids.
She loves car rides, according to her prior owner.
She is a delightful beauty, apply quickly for this one!
Shadow will be happiest in a relatively energetic, playful, busy household.

Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.

3. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page. Be sure to complete all fields.
4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to lovingpetinnadoptions@gmail.com

6. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
