My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mattie is a very peaceful cat and loves to be petted and combed. She was abandon and left outside for some time until her rescue. Poor girl was so matted, the groomer had to give her a lion cut! Her hair is growing out and she is adjusting to her foster home. She is shy and likes a quiet area with her bed. A quiet home would be perfect for her. She prefers to be the only cat. Her favorite food is Fancy Feast. She will talk to you, only if you talk first! This shy baby is looking for a gentle, loving forever owner.

More about this rescue

The Whiskers Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 Trap Neuter Return organization that spays and neuters stray and feral cats in north georgia. We primarily serve cat colonies and when we come across adoptable kittens or cats, we remove them from the colony to seek a loving indoor home. We are part of Feral Friends Network with Alley Cat Allies. We are always looking for farms, barns and stables to relocate serilized cats that need barn homes. Pls contact us if you can provide location assistance or fostering of domesticated felines.
