Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Taylor, an adorable young Yorkie / Yorkie mix. She is an active, loving little 5-year-old 8-pound spayed female, recently completed a health exam with flying colors, and is current on all her vaccinations. She is crate-trained, walks very well on her leash, rides in the car very nicely in a doggy seat, and has gotten along very well with our three dogs (one smaller, two slightly larger). While in our foster care, Taylor has exhibited no signs of bad behavior (aggression, digging, chewing, etc.) However, she is not completely housebroken at this time, though she is making steady progress. An adoptive family or individual must be committed to continue patient and gentle guidance, both with housebreaking and with some basic obedience commands, so that Taylor can become her very best. She loves to romp and explore in the yard, so her ideal “forever home” must have a securely-fenced yard. Taylor wants to be with her human(s) at all times – she becomes anxious and restless if you are out of her sight. Because of this, she will thrive best in a home with a stay-at-home or work-from-home parent. Also, it is the policy of the Rescue not do adopt to homes with children under the age of ten, as Yorkies are often uncomfortable and unpredictable around toddlers and young children. If you are searching for a dog that loves lots of attention, being held in a lap, and snuggling on the couch or in the human bed, Taylor would make a wonderful companion.
Please note that Taylor is scheduled for a dental cleaning with the vet on May 13th, and will not be available for adoption until after May 20th.
If your household meets all the criteria listed above, you are welcome to complete and submit an Adoption Application, as we are beginning to review applications at this time.
