Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lady entered our rescue program in November 2003. She is approximately 7 years old, full of energy and very smart. Her previous owner took her to a shelter because he ‘no longer had time for her’. (He apparently had enough time to let her have several litters of puppies.) She was heartworm positive when she came to us and has undergone treatment. This Lady defines ‘loyalty’. No dog deserves the neglect and abandonment she endured before coming to GSRCA. She loves people and what she wants most is to be with someone who will be just as loyal to her. If you are looking for a best friend she promises to be that. Lady has acquired a little nickname while with us. She is otherwise known as ‘Keeper of the Garage’. Lady likes her crate, but when she decides she doesn’t want to be in it, she takes her crate apart. We have given up after going through three crates and Lady now patrols the garage and is perfectly content. Lady would do best as the only dog in the household and should be okay with cats.
This dog is crate trained, spayed, up to date on shots and HW free. Adoption application, home visit, and $200 adoption fee are required. Please read our adoption requirements on our home page.
