Hello....I am Baxter and I am so exited to introduce myself my whole body is wiggling. I absolutely LOVE to rump around with other dogs. I currently live with a tiny human and dogs of all sizes and my foster mom says she has no problems with me. Do you like to go running and hiking? If so I would love to go with you. I am very smart too and will learn command s really quick if you have something yummy in your hand (who doesn't love food?) If you would like to meet my handsome, goofy self please submit and adoption application for me at adoption.poundpupandfriends.org My adoption donation is $150 and for that I am up to date on all of my vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea prevention.

We will do a home inspection of the applicant's home. We are looking for safety issues and if appropriate shelter is available.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue group trying to save as many dog lives as possible in the Killeen area. Our focus is the Killeen animal shelter, which stays at a high occupancy rate and is trying to become no-kill.
We also provide medical treatment for dogs that would otherwise not be adoptable. Most of our expenses are for treatments to enable these dogs to have a better and healthier life.
