Arrival story: We found Tater at Macomb County AC. She arrived as a stray.

Approximate Age / Weight: 3 Year Old and 45 lbs.

Personality: Tater Tot has come a long way since she arrived a few months ago. She can be unsure when meeting new people, particularly men. We’ve watched her blossom and make strides in her confidence in foster care, but we are still working on her confidence around men. Because of this, Tater will do best in a home without men.

This energetic girl would love a doggie playmate. She has a blast at dog daycare, so a home with another energetic dog is a bonus! Tater loves to play chase and chew on a bone when everyone settles down at night. Tater is good at the vet’s office and on car rides. She’s also a graduated training class with flying colors!

Forever Home: Tater would love to be part of an active family and, ideally, have an energetic canine pal. Though Tater is much better meeting new women, she still struggles when meeting new men. So, for her comfort, we are seeking a home without men. Our sweet girl would also do best in a quieter home without a lot of house guests or young children. No invisible fences for Tater, please.
