Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wallaby! Wallaby is a loving senior dog (about eight years old) recently diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma - an aggressive cancer in dogs. Wallaby has been with Animal Lovers of Edisto for about six months. Shortly after arriving, she developed a tumor and red blood blister looking spots on her stomach. Dr. Sauls at Southside Animal Hospital removed the tumor and lasered off the red spots. While we have no long-term prognosis, Dr. Sauls feels Wallaby can live several years with good care. Wallaby needs a loving home to live out whatever time she has left!
Wallaby is a bit of a Houdini, and needs to be an inside dog, leash walk only. She can dig or climb out of just about anything! She can be crated and left alone inside. Wallaby is a sweet, laid back dog who would love to snuggle on the couch and binge watch TV with you! She likes other dogs, and has also lived with cats, goats, horses and donkeys.
If you can provide hospice foster or adoption for our sweet Wallaby, please call Holli, 803-568-0745.
