Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Guess who's coming to town? No it's not Santa Claus. It's Sam! He's delivering smiles that will brighten and cheer up anybody who is lucky enough to meet him. Behold all 60 pounds of this heart melting wonder. He will get noticed for his awesome good looks but it's his personality that is the real show stopper. Sam is a tan Irish Wolfhound mix ready to be the love of your life. On the top of his wish list is a home that will cherish him daily.
We know Sam is a special boy but we didn't know how special he was until we learned that Sam is an unofficial protector of kittens. When he was found as a stray, he was also found gently cradling a kitten in his mouth. What a sweet, nurturing boy! He was the hero for that small kitten and now he needs to be rescued as well. The kitten Sam was carrying has found a home and now it's Sam's turn to be the lucky recipient of a wonderful and loving home.
At around 8 months old, Sam will have years of adventures and memories to share with his family. He is fun and loving as well as a sweet and gentle soul. Sam loves everyone that meets him. He thinks that dogs and kids are great company. He can be a clown and is loads of fun to play with. His medium energy level gives him the right amount of motivation to live life with moments of pep and relaxation for the moments of down time.
Sam is crate and leash trained but is working on his house training. He will benefit from consistent practice that will have him a champion in no time. As with all puppies, Sam is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion.
Sam is a jolly good soul that will be a wonderful addition to your family and a joy for a lifetime. His super sweet charm places him on the good list which makes him a keeper.
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
