My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charity was found with Faith living under an abandoned house. They were rescued and taken to a shelter where they were moved to a foster home. It has taken Charity a while to not be afraid of people. But thanks to the loving home she has been in, she is coming out of her shell. She is still a bit unsure, so she comes across as being shy. But behind that shyness is a very sweet deserving girl.

Charity has those soft brown eyes that beseech you to love her. She has a short black and white coat. Though her sweet lovable face is totally black, her chest is all white as is the tip of her tail and her paws. She weighs about 25 pounds and is probably 2 years of age. She is considered full grown. Charity is listed as a terrier mix which opens up all kinds of possibilities as to exactly what that means.  One thing for sure, she is a survivor.

She is perfectly comfortable and friendly with other dogs. She has been living with kids and still can be a little shy until she reaches a comfort level. With a family that will accept and love her, Charity will continue to grow and become more confident. She has a medium amount of energy so she would benefit from play time and walks around the block.

Her foster mom has been working with her on her crate, leash, and house training. She is making progress in these areas and will need to continue working on these skills with someone who has the patience, time, and energy. It will require the right guidance but the result will be a dog that will be a devoted lifelong companion. Charity also will need to work on socialization skills so that she will continue to build her confidence.  Are you the family that is willing to help her reach her potential and give her the love she deserves? If yes, read on!

The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
