Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Poochie and I am a seven year old male schnauzer who weighs 25 pounds. My human owner loved me so much my whole life; but sadly could not keep me any longer when she entered the nursing home.

Lucky for me, Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati found out about my story and placed me in a foster home that love having me. I do have diabetes; but am well regulated. I take eight units of insulin every 12 hours. My insulin and syringes are inexpensive at Walmart and I am fine with the shots as I get a treat afterwards!

I love sleeping on laps and enjoy all the toys my owner sent with me. I don’t see that well; but have no problem telling you when I need to go out. Leash walks make me so happy, I do well with other dogs and never jump on people. I need a fenced yard!

I am up-to-date on all my vaccines, micro chipped and just had my pearlies cleaned. You will love to see how handsome, smart and loving I am... just waiting to be part of your family. Just fill out an application for me. Thank you.
