Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mario is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Mario came from a backyard breeder who had way too many dogs (22) and the city told her that they had to go. We took them before they went to the pound or worse. They are Shih Tzu/Dachshund/Chihuahua mixes around 4 months old. Mario is smooth coated and weighs 8 pounds. He is very friendly, loving, and playful; and likes to give kisses. All of the puppies like to howl at trains. Mario is a puppy and will need to be house trained, obedience trained and receive further socialization. He is small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Mario must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Mario is healthy. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He will receive his final puppy shot on May 11th and can leave for a new home after that. But he may be adopted now. Mario is on flea prevention and has been started on heartworm prevention. He has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport via Rescue Road Trips for pickup in Zanesville Ohio.
