This spunky senior is Tara, and she is incredible!! She is a 10 year old German Shepherd mix, and is very healthy and vibrant.

Tara loves playing fetch, and will even occupy herself by throwing her toy around and catching it! She loves to get affection from her humans. She doesn't mind cats and likes to play with other dogs in her household. She is still very active for her age and is always up for a walk or a hike, and would make a great adventure buddy for someone.

Tara can be a little timid when first meeting people, but is easily won over by treats and a gentle approach. She can be a little protective of her toys, so she would prefer a home without young kids. She can be a little leash reactive and cautious of people and other dogs she meets on walks but is happy to continue on her walk after the distraction.

Tara is very food motivated and very smart! She knows a lot of commands and hanging out with her people and playing is a perfect day for her.

Tara is such an amazing dog, and we know that perfect forever home and human is out there for her. Let’s spread the word to find this old dog some new digs!!!
