Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Kopi came to the refuge from a rescue in Louisiana when she was just three months old and is still learning to trust humans. But deep inside Kopi yearns for a home where she can feel safe and secure, and with the right balance of love, patience and encouragement we know Kopi is sure to flourish. She would love to find a quiet home and would be fine living with another calm, young cat to help model good kitty social skills and be a friend for her to play and snuggle with, too. DOB: 06/03/2017
If interested in adopting from the Goathouse Refuge, please plan to take the following steps required in our adoption process: 1. Come for a Visit: No appointment necessary: just drop by during our normal visiting hours of noon-3 PM. If visiting during the week, we do ask that you please call our office in advance at (919) 542-6815 to first confirm availability of our staff. 2. Complete our online application: Visit our website (click link above or go to www.goathouserefuge.org under the 'adopt' tab). 3. Home Visit: All adoption applications will be reviewed by the refuge staff, and if the applicant seems to be a good fit for the cat(s) of interest, the refuge will contact the interested party to set up a home visit. Only after a representative of the refuge conducts a home visit will the refuge then consider continuing with the adoption process.
