My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a beauty! Sweet Mariah came to the refuge from a high kill shelter. While she may seem a little shy and skittish at first, Mariah warms right up to visitors if given a little patience. And once she decides to trust you, she's all purrs and cuddles! Mariah wouldn't mind sharing a home along with another calm, low-key cat close to her in age so she'll have a lifetime pal to play and snuggle with; she would also be fine as an only-cat. Come meet Mariah and her friends today! Approx. DOB: 10/01/2016

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
