Here's what the humans have to say about me:
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
Ginger is a sweet and gentle 13 year old, 8 pound blind and hard of hearing Chihuahua who lived her whole life as a beloved pet. Unfortunately, her elderly owner had health issues and could no longer care for her. She was adopted from us in the fall of 2018 and did great in that home but her new owner also became too ill to keep a dog so here Ginger is back with us again.
She is a friendly girl who makes new people friends easily. She is comfy with laps. She has also been fine with the other little house dogs here.
Ginger is great on the leash and already housetrained. She will potty nicely for you when you take her out on the leash. Her recent owner could not walk well so she had Ginger use pee pads inside but said that Ginger loved going outside also. She keeps her room here clean, waiting until she is taken outside.
This petite little senior is such a nice girl, just has a body that has seen better days. She is an easy going munchkin and uses her nose to figure stuff out, like where the comfy bed is and who has some tasty treats for her! She does really enjoy hanging out in a favorite doggie bed and sleeps a lot of the time.
She walks well when out on the leash, just sticking close by you and enjoying sniffing the grass and exploring. Despite her lack of vision, she has a peaceful confidence and gets around just fine, just needs to explore and understand her surroundings first.
There is absolutely no doubt that our charming senior deserves to spend her last years being well loved in a good home, just like she spent her prior 13 years. Will you be the one to step up to the plate and find room in your home for this precious soul?
