LUCKY CHALFIE

This gorgeous 18 month - 2 year old Havanese/Maltese mix is a delightful but misunderstood little guy weighing about 16 pounds. Lucky was surrendered by his owner who had him since puppyhood as they were moving. He was heartbroken and stayed in the shelter for about a month. Lucky is fostered in Los Angeles by our wonderful trainer Steve Barker & has been fully vetted. Lucky is a wonderful sweet dog who needs a safe environment where he can build trust & be loved.

You: Are retired or semi retired & have someone home all day. Your home and yard are safe & you will spend time walking Lucky Chalfie & continuing his socialization & training with Steve Barker. You are patient & understanding. Lucky travels well & behaves very well in public. Although not quite comfortable yet with grooming – continuity and patience will win him over. He will need regular brushing & baths every two weeks. Fully vetted. Our BASIC Vetting protocol is spay/neuter, all shots including Distemper, Parvo, Bordatella, Rabies, Heartworm Negative, Fecal to Laboratory, Dental when necessary & Microchipped. We are able to offer one month of free medical insurance through Petfinder & a free rescue exam with one of our Veterinarians or someone local to you. Lucky is fostered in Los Angeles.
