JOJO DIAMOND is a gorgeous 6 year old Maltese Shih Tzu weighing 9 pounds. If you are looking for an amazingly loyal dog - Jojo is your man. Calm but playful, loves children, men & your lap! Jojo doesn't need a friend dog to be happy but he loves his K9 girlfriends! Loves water & will play in a kiddie pool!! Jojo has a tendency to immediately bond with one person so an awareness of this & having both adults involved in his transition is preferred. Showing patience with a dog that was dumped at a shelter by his owner at 6 years of age for allergies (to a poodle??? they surrendered him "as a poodle") is the way to success!

You: Are retired or semi retired & have someone home all day. Your home and yard are safe & you will spend time walking Jojo & continuing his socialization. Have a female small/young dog for Jojo to play & bond with but he can be an only dog as well. Jojo travels well & enjoys his grooming appointments. He will need regular brushing & baths every two weeks, grooming every 6-8 weeks. Fully vetted. Our BASIC Vetting protocol is spay/neuter, all shots including Distemper, Parvo, Bordatella, Rabies, Heartworm Negative, Fecal to Laboratory, Dental when necessary & Microchipped. We are able to offer one month of free medical insurance through Petfinder & a free rescue exam with one of our Veterinarians or someone local to you. Jojo is fostered in Rancho Cucamonga.
