Howdy there!!!
I am little Texan fella Huey. I got lost and was found wandering the streets of Houston when the dog catcher got me and brought me to a very scary place where so many other dogs were barking and crying. I was so scared in my cell which I shared with other dogs. They gave me a little comfort while there but the nice ladies said my time was up and someone better come get me. I am not sure what that meant but I know it wasn't good since people that volunteered there said that I was such a good boy and I deserved better. A rescue lady from up North saw my plea and felt pity on me. Thank God, she decided to help me get out of there. I am soooo glad because here I am now. I am looking for my own loving home in Maryland or nearby.

I am almost 4-month old. I am a stunning Black Labrador Retriever mix. I think one of my parents was a Border Collie of some sort. I am a smart little fella and will work for yummy treats. I want to show you how good I am if you give me some goodies. Right now I am 25 pounds and they think I will be a nice big medium size to a large size dog. Just perfect for going on walks and hikes and fun car rides, and swimming in water. A best little buddy I am!

I am a good boy, but of course, I am a puppy and you know what that means. I like to chase birds and squirrels in the backyard. And like to play with toys and just run around like crazy fetching them and chasing other dogs. But.....I may find a few things in your home that look yummy to chew up. So, of course, you would have to "puppy-proof" your home when I come. I am getting really good at staying in my crate when no one is home or when it is beddie time. I will just need a little training and then I will be an even better boy. But they say I am smart and will get things quickly.

If you watch me real good and let me out when I need to, I won't even go potty in your home. I think walks will be a lot of fun and play dates with other puppers will make me happy, and don't forget snuggle time. I am a real good lover boy and will give you lots of kisses.

Do you want to meet me and see if we can be best buds? Or maybe I can be your family dog and play with the children when you are tired. I will wear them out for you! I will beg them to throw me balls to fetch and will bring them back, over and over again. That will get them tired. I will also make sure they clean up their stuff off the floor otherwise I will show them how good I am with chewing up stuff. You will be amazed by how good they will become because of ME!
