Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES JASMINE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
PLEASE NOTE: If the dog you are interested in is online, she is still available and it is not necessary to email to inquire.
Jasmine is as cute as she can be but she is also a puppy. Puppies require a lot of time and attention from their new family. They are a blank slate and know nothing. They will whine, chew on inappropriate things, have accidents in the house and get into things while they are learning to be grown-up dogs. Puppy obedience training classes help with these behaviors, allowing the puppy to form a close bond with their new owner and become a wonderful family member.
Hello, my name is Jasmine. I’m about 4-5 months old. I was dropped off at the shelter one day by a man. He told the staff at the shelter that he found me. They kept me there for a few days and this lady came to take me home. I found out that she was going to be my foster mommy. She loved on me and told me that I had other sisters and a brother at her house to play with at home. She had steps up to her home and I wasn’t sure about those, but I learned quickly. She introduced me to my dog sister and brother. I wasn’t sure about them at first but I learned that my brother was OK when I wanted to play. I also have 3 cat sisters. I sniffed at them, but I don’t chase them. One even hisses at me, but I leave her alone. Mommy introduced me to some of the neighbors. Some were little kids and some were older. I enjoyed playing with them. We had a lot of fun and I didn’t nip at them. My mommy is working with me to not potty in the house, but I’m a puppy. It will take me some time to learn this. Mommy is also teaching me to stay in a crate when she’s at work. I lay down with my stuffed animals and take a nap. I love to snuggle, love and lick my mommy. I even sleep with her and my cat sisters at night. I only get mommy up once through the night to go potty. Mommy is teaching me to sit and lay down. She gives me treats when I do what she wants me to do and I love that so much. She also makes me wait for my food. Mommy says that I will be getting a fur-ever home soon. She said that I need a family to love me and take care of me fur-ever. She said that I will need chew toys since I’m teething at this time. The shelter gave me my 1st set of puppy shots and I’ll be available as soon as I’ve had my 2nd set. Please be my fur-ever mommy and daddy.
