Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES ROSS INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
PLEASE NOTE: If the dog you are interested in is online, he/she is still available and it is not necessary to email to inquire.
Ross is a male GS mix puppy who is 4 mos. old. He and his 3 littermates were abandoned and found by a Good Samaritan who brought them to a shelter. When the shelter contacted IDGSR we brought them all into the rescue. Ross is in a loving foster home now and his foster mom has this to say about him:
"He is such a cute puppy. He has big paws already so he is going to be a big boy. Ross is housebroken (a puppy already housebroken!!!), crate trained, good with kids, other dogs and cats. He walks nicely on a leash and sits for treats. He loves play time and really loves to snuggle when it is nap time. Ross is full of puppy energy but once Ross is tired, he loves to cuddle. Ross loves chew sticks, tennis balls and plush toys."
Ross is as cute as he can be but he is still a puppy. Puppies require a lot of time and attention from their new family. They will whine, chew on inappropriate things, and get into things while they are learning to be grown-up dogs. Puppy obedience training classes help with these behaviors and also allow the puppy to form a close bond with their new owner and become a wonderful family member.
If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please apply by CLICKING ON THE ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.
PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
***Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our four-legged friends***
Donations to help us care for all the dogs in our program are also greatly appreciated and may be made from our main petfinder page: http://IDGSR.petfinder.com
