Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello. I'm Marley, and I'm the mellowest, sweetest young Pomeranian/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix you are likely to meet. I'm about 2 years old. and I weigh about 20 lbs. I was abandoned after hurricane Florence. I have been with my foster mom since October, anxiously waiting for placement with the New Leash on Life Program. I have had a wonderful home for the past 6 months but I am excited to be adopted by my forever family. I am completely housebroken. I get along well with both dogs and cats. But my favorite place to be is on a lap. I am very affectionate, a true people pleasing pup.
I was so excited to be chosen to go into the New Leash on Life training program but had to wait until I was heart-worm negative before I could enter the program. Now that I am all clear, I can be trained. After my eight weeks of training, I will know basic and advanced obedience commands, have some agility training, and even know a few tricks! I am very smart and motivated!
I'll also be house and crate trained, will be able walk well on and off a leash. I am neutered and I am up to date on all vaccination. I am one healthy boy. When I graduate in mid to late June, I'll be ready to head off for second chance at a new life with my new fur-ever family. Maybe yours!
If you are interested in adopting Marley, please visit his page at www.pamlicopaws.net and complete an application.
If you have any questions about our adoption process, just call Jackie Schmidt, PAWS president, at 252-649-5504, and she was my foster mom and can tell you all about me. Please call soon -- I'll we waiting!
